Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam, Tamilnadu invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Technical Officers, Scientific Officers & Trainees in the disciplines of Laboratory, Chemical Plant operators, Millwright Fitter, Bench Fitter, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Architecture, Computer Science, Electronics, Civil, Rigger, Library Science etc.

Details of Vacancies :

1.Category I - Trainees

Total No. of Posts : 08 [SC-2, ST-1, OBC-3, PH(HH/OH)-2]

Pay Scale during Training : Rs.9300/- Stipend per month.

Age Limit : 24 years

Qualification : Diploma / Licenciates (3 years after SSC) in respective discipline.

 2.Category II - Trainees

Total No. of Posts : 82 [SC-12, ST-6, OBC-20, UR-37, PH(HH/OH)-7]

Pay scale during Training : 6200/- Stipend per month during 1st year and Rs.7200/- Stipend per month during II year

Age Limit : 22 years

Qualification : The candidate should have 60% marks (in aggregate) in either SSC or HSC with Science and Mathematics as the subjects.  ITI Certificate in respective Trade  from a recognized Technical Institute.

3. Scientific Officers 

Total No. of Posts : 6

Pay Scale : 15600 – 39100 + 7600 [Grade Pay]

Age Limit : 35 / 40 years for D and E Posts

4. Technical Officers

Total No. of Posts : 14

Pay Scale : 15600 – 39100 + 6600 [Grade Pay]

Age Limit : 35 years

Application fee : Fees : Rs. 50/- (No Fees for SC/ST/Women/PH/Ex-S) Payable in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Pay & Accounts Officer, IGCAR, Kalpakkam payable at in SBI Bank / Canara Bank, Kalpakkam.
