Balmer Lawrie Recruitment 2014 Officers / CS / Managers - Balmer Lawrie has been in existence since 1867 and has evolved overtime, establishing several milestones in the Corporate annals of the country. It was the first PSE to go global, by setting up manufacturing facilities outside India. It was the first to subscribe toCommercial Paperand is perhaps the most diversified Corporate entity in the country today.
The Company operates in various business segments through Strategic Business Units [SBUs] and Joint Venture Companies [JVCs]. It is the market leader in Industrial Greases & Specialty Lubricants, Steel Barrel, Corporate Travel and Logistics Services. The Company also has significant presence in most of the other businesses it operates in, namely, Refinery & Oil Field Services [ROFS], Leather / Performance Chemicals, Logistics Infrastructure, etc.
The company is looking for qualified and experienced professionals to man the following key role in the Company:-
1. Junior Officer (Despatch) - 01 Post
Qualification : The applicant must be a Diploma Engineer with 3 years’ full time diploma in any of the streams: Mechanical , Materials or equivalent
Experience : Post-qualification experience of a minimum 3, preferred 5 years - in manufacturing plant based relevant role
Age Limit : Maximum age as on the date of notification should be 32 years
Place of Posting : Taloja, Navi Mumbai
2. Junior Officer (HR & Admin) - 01 Post
Qualification : The applicant must be a PGDBM/ MBA having done 2 years’ full time course, with specialisation in HR/ IR or equivalent
Experience : Post-qualification experience of a minimum 3, preferred 5 years - in manufacturing plant based relevant role
Age Limit : Maximum age as on the date of notification should be 32 years
Place of Posting : Taloja, Navi Mumbai
3. Junior Officer (Sales) - 01 Posts
Qualification : The applicant must be a Graduate with Diploma in Sales/ Mktg
Experience : Post-qualification experience of a minimum 3, preferred 5 years - in Sales/ Mktg in Logistics (international cargo) industry
Age Limit : Maximum age as on the date of notification should be 30 years
Place of Posting : Indore
4. Senior Manager / Chief Manager (Quality Control) - 01 Post
Qualification : The applicant must be M. Sc. in Chemistry. Candidates with Ph. D. in Chemistry will be preferred.
Experience : Minimum 7 / 9 years of post qualification relevant experience for Grade E4 E5 as on the date of notification.
Age Limit : Maximum age as on the date of notification should be 40 years.
Place of Posting : Silvassa
5. Head (Corporate Social Responsibility) - 01 Post
Qualification : The applicant must be MSW or equivalent. Candidates with MSW or equivalent with specialization in Social Work/Community Development/Rural Development will be preferred.
Experience : Minimum 7 / 9 years of post qualification relevant experience for Grade E4 / E5 as on the date of notification.
Age Limit : Maximum age as on the date of notification should be 40 years.
Place of Posting : Kolkata
6. Company Secretary - 01 Post
Qualification : The applicant must be ACS. Candidates with LLB will be preferred
Experience : Minimum 13 years of post-qualification relevant experience as on the date of notification.
Age Limit : Maximum age as on the date of notification should be 50 years.
Place of Posting : Kolkata
Selection : Candidates would be selected on the basis of interview. Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed travel expenses as per the rules of the Company.
