JIPMER Recruitment 2014 Faculty / Teaching Positions - JIPMER also promotes research in various medical disciplines. Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) Puducherry invites filled in applications for the recruitment of 65 posts of Professor and Assistant Professors in various subjects/disciplines from young, dynamic and motivated persons of Indian Nationals who are eligible & interested; candidates can apply through offline mode up to 31-05-2014.

1. Professor - 23 Posts

Pay Scale : Rs. 37400-67000 + GP 10,500/-(Academic Grade Pay) with a minimum of Rs.51,600/- + NPA.
Age Limit : Not more than 58 years
2. Assistant Professor - 42 Posts
Speciality / Department : Please refer the pdf
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 + GP 8000/- (Academic Grade Pay) with a minimum of Rs.30,000/- + NPA.
Age Limit : Not more than 50 years.
Qualification :
1. Professor - Post Graduate Qualifications/ Master’s Degree in the Discipline or allied subjects/ Doctorate (Ph. D) Degree from a recognized University/Institute/14 years’ teaching and/or research experience in the discipline or subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree.
2. Assistant professor - Post Graduate Qualifications / Master’s Degree in the Discipline or allied Subjects/ Doctorate (Ph. D) Degree from a recognized University/Institute/3 years’ teaching and/or research experience in the discipline or subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree.
Application fee : he fee (Rs.250/- for SC/ST; Rs.500/- for Others) in the form of Demand Draft (DD) in favour of Accounts Officer, JIPMER, Puducherry payable at SBI, JIPMER, Pondicherry.
Selection procedure : Personal Interview
