NOTICE NO.10/2013·CPF - Combined Armed Police Forces

The  Union  Public Service  Commission   will  hold  a Written Examination  on 20th October,  2013  for recruitment of  Assistant Commandants (Group  A)  in  the  Central   Armed   Police Forces  (CAP F) viz. Border Security  Force (BSF), Central Reserve    Police   Force (CRPF),  Central  Industrial  Security  Force (CISF) and  Indo-Tibetan  Border Police (ITBP). The  Examination  will  be  held  in accordance  with  the Rules  for the Examination  published by Ministry of Home Affairs in the Gazette  of India dated 06th July, 2013.

 Qualification : A candidate   must  hold  a Bachelor's degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other  educational  institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission  Act,  1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit : 20 - 25 years on 1st August, 2013 ( born not earlier than 2nd August,  1988 and not later than  1st August,  1993).Relaxations in upper age limit will be offered as per Government Rules (SC/ST - 5 years ; OBC - 3 years).

Selection Process : Candidates will be selected based on Written Examination, Physical and Medical Standards Tests, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Interview/ Personality Test.

Application fee : Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.200/- either by depositing the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI, State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. SC/ ST/ Women Candidates are exempted from the fee.

How to Apply : Candidates are required to apply Online. After successful submission of online application, candidates are advised to take a Print Out of the Online process. Candidates are not required to submit the print out or any other Certificates / Documents by post at this stage. However the same has to be produced at the time of written exam/interview or as and when called for.
